Hello, my name is Sharon Ritchie. I am running in this election as a write-in candidate to help give community members back their voice.  Over the last several years Grove City has been moving away from the hometown feel that we love about Grove City. We do not want the big city "ideas" to take over our city. With my experience as a Public Health Nurse, I have been serving the underserved community members for over 33 years. I learned from them in their own homes.  The residents have no idea that behind the scenes there is an underlining agenda to turn Grove City into something unrecognizable. I intend to be roadblock to that agenda. I will listen to my community members.  I will take their ideas and concerns straight to the Council to seek solutions. I am Pro Police.  I feel our Police officers here in Grove City deserve our respect and thanks because they put their Life’s on the line every day to help protect us.   I will be the Back the Blue Candidate. I also honor and respect our veterans that lived in Ward 5. They served our country to give us the Freedoms that we enjoy today.  I will seek their ideas as well as from all our seniors.  Our seniors have valuable ideas and information that we need and can use.  I will be focused on bringing new businesses to Grove City.   This includes promoting and supporting local business owners because they are the foundation to a strong city and economy. 

As a 51-year resident of Grove City of which 35 years living is what is now Ward 5, I value our neighborhoods and the residents that live here. Our family is known to Ward 5 and Grove City at large.  My family attended school here, attended Church here and continued to work here.  I am a person you can trust. You can feel that you can reach me anytime and know you will not be left behind and forgotten because you believe in traditional values. So, I am asking for your support.  This election for Grove City Council is the largest and most important that I have witnessed the entire time that I have lived here.  Your vote will determine the future of our great city.  Please help me preserve and save whet we love and cherish here.
